Last shoppping: Spring from Brooks Brothers

One Sunday a hint of spring rather than enjoy the sun, I and my most faithful friend of shopping we went to celebrate the new season Brooks Brothers. It will be just one year that I discovered this store, and always gives me so many joys, so no longer do Reisch buy from Max & Co (prices seem disproportionate in comparison).

I went, I admit, after studying the new collection on the site and I absolutely wanted to try the Dandy jacket I had seen the previous year by Max & Co and was so modbida that I absolutely had to have it.

Amedeo Vergani (Grass, October 29, 1944 - Merone, 1 May 2010) began to collaborate with the newspaper La Provincia di Como since still in high school classic. He won many awards, provided images for books and illustrated books including the well-known Ägypten, Alps, and Giobbian Majestuese Italie, his photos were exhibited at the XLVI International Art Exhibition in Venice in 1995, the Triennale in Milan, the Guggenheim Venice, the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris and many others.
At his work paralleled that of trade union within the National Federation of the Italian Press, where he held roles of the institutions until his death, he was executive director and the Group of Journalists visual information (GSGIV) and member of the commission contract and adviser of the Association of Journalists Lombarda. Among other things created, within the FNSI, along with other colleagues in a center analysis and documentation of information about issues of journalism (LSDI). His last fight was for a minimum fee for the recognition of equal dignity of the journalist.

is the collection of Philip Pappas, one of the most prestigious and comprehensive in Sicily, the protagonist of the exhibition entitled "Art is where, notwithstanding, laughing. The collection of Philip and Anna Pia Pappalardo (works 1950 to 2011) "hosted by the extraordinary eighteenth-century frame of the former Benedictine monastery in Catania.
over eighty works of art - different techniques in oil on canvas, watercolor on paper, photography, installation - are exposed 4 to 30 April 2011 and are the result of careful selection, made by the curator Daniela wide, of over 800 works in the collection consists Pappalardo.
For the first time, a party representative summary of the collection can be enjoyed from the city.

The initiative is promoted by the Faculty of Humanities University of Catania, in collaboration with the Libraries Riunite "Civic and U. The works on display illustrate some of the major art movements of the twentieth century to reach the most contemporary trends. Many artists in the exhibition: Abramovic, Alviani, Baj, Beecroft, Burri, Capogrossi, César, Chia, Christo, Cucchi, De Chirico, Fautrier, Fontana, Guttuso, Kounellis, LeWitt, Manzù, Mathieu, Paladino, Rotella, Schnabel, Vasarely , Widow, to name just a small part.
Among the works of major importance and interest include: Surface CP/200 Giuseppe Capogrossi, 1953, one of the cornerstones of the collection, Cellotex Burri in 1980 on which explodes the coloring of black and red, a Mimmo Untitled Paladino of 1992 admirably expresses the mystery man in the past and present Archimedes and the rare Broadway Jannis. BarflyWay is a journey into loneliness and lack of communication today. Three years ago, I trembled when I discovered that the purple would be a must for next season ... the new black as they called it.
